MA and MS in BIOLOGY

Graduate Catalog Entry

The department offers M.A. and M.S. degrees. The M.S. degree requires 30 semester hours and a thesis which includes its related defense. The M.A. is a non-thesis alternative and requires 36 hours of graduate course work which includes a final oral examination. The department typically has six to eight graduate students, mostly M.S. candidates.
